About Study Abroad In USA
In the US, visa and immigration laws are (probably) slightly less welcoming compared to other host countries for foreign students and graduates. Since the attacks on September 11, 2001, the major changes to visa rules happened as the US quickly introduced stricter visa and immigration requirements. A new internship scheme that has been specially tailored for international students has recently been developed by the US Department of State. Any foreign students have been entitled to engage in a year-long internship for practical training per degree level since July 2007, as long as they can explain how the experience can improve their education.
